“Canyon Scarf” by Janeen Puckett

Reversible intarsia! This inventive technique from Colorado designer Janeen Puckett creates a gorgeous color work scarf with no wrong side. With a natural color palette, this scarf is a great gift for men or women.

From Beth:

The stretch of I-70 through Glenwood Canyon, Colorado is beyond scenic, with the Colorado River on one side and sheer, quarter-mile-high rock walls on the other. To protect the landscape, new construction techniques were developed to minimize the impact of the roadway.

Designer Janeen Puckett developed an innovative construction technique for knitting this reversible intarsia scarf. Inspired by the beautiful canyon, she chose earthy colors and a complex pattern, representing the intricate geometry created by cracks in the canyon’s limestone walls.
