It’s spooky and mysterious. Designer Jennifer Dickerson turns Baltimore’s wrought iron and the Edgar Alan Poe home into a lovely lace scarf.
From Beth:
Master storyteller Edgar Alan Poe wrote some of the most famous scary stories in history from a little house in Baltimore. A shadowy figure visited the author’s grave on Poe’s birthday for 60 years, always placing a bottle of cognac and a rose on the tomb. In the last few years, the figure stopped appearing, creating a new twist to the mystery.
A Baltimore native, designer Jennifer Dickerson presents a lovely lace scarf as light as a spooky cobweb, but without the hairy, scary eight-legged spider. And it’s a great first lace project, too.
