Goose Mitts

Goose Mitts

“Goose Mitts” by Mary Kay Vogel

Stretchy ribbed mitts in a gorgeous thick and thin yarn in the colors of geese. They keep your fingers free and they fit like a glove! Designed by Mary Kay Vogel, inspired by her own photographs of migrating geese over the Horicon Marsh, WI.

From Beth: There’s something special about migrating geese. Flying in “V” formation, each bird flies slightly above the one in front of him, reducing wind resistance. The lead bird falls back when tired, allowing another to take his place. Teamwork in perfect natural harmony. Wisconsin designer Mary Kay Vogel is an avid photographer. Her favorite picture spot is the nearby Horicon Marsh. In the chilly spring and autumn, these mitts keep her hands warm and her shutter finger free while the geese are migrating and the photo opportunities are plenty.
