Falling Leaves Sweater

Falling Leaves Sweater

Falling Leaves Sweater designed by Liz Chlipala

For your favorite little one sizes 6 mos. to 2T, celebrate nature’s most colorful season. Designed by Liz Chlipala and inspired by playing in piles of fallen leaves with her  daughter in New Lenox, Illinois. Cows not included.

From Beth:

Late autumn sees the brilliant canopy of color drift from the trees to the ground, raining gold, red and orange. Who can resist kicking up a crunchy shower of leaves as you walk?

For this piece, Illinois designer Liz Chlipala was inspired by memories of her children playing in piles of raked leaves, a childhood compulsion that must be hard wired into our DNA. This sweet child’s sweater celebrates the kid in all of us, with its mix of green, red and gold, celebrating those perfect autumn days.
